The Only "Faith in Action" program in Indiana County

Indiana County CareNet is a Faith in Action program that calls together, trains and mobilizes volunteers from religious congregations to provide practical services to the elderly and those at risk of losing their independence.

Friendship and support is provided to our homebound neighbors with chronic health care issuues.

The "Care" in CareNet symbolizes our compassionate volunteers who provide companionship to an isolated and frail population.

"Net" represents a network of congregations that believe all persons are made in the image of God and all persons are equal value and deserve to be treated with dignity.

We all want to remain as independent as possible throughout our lives and sometimes just need a little help from our friends.
